He grows a little periodically, my dog. Now he's pretty much exactly six months and two weeks, and is now bigger than my Ella was. She was about 51 cm high, and commuted between 27 – 31 kilo. I don't know what Boyo weighs right now, and I haven't measured him – but he reaches above my knees, and that when I'm wearing clogs.
I am completely fascinated. About a week ago I watched an old video from when he was gone.. not old at all. He and Lilo were fooling around here in the kitchen, and he went under her stomach.
In other words, he can not that now. Possibly if he lays down and crawls under her with his chin on the hill. When maybe he can, but not otherwise.
However, can Lilo gå under Boyos mage, numer. I discovered that last week when we came in, and it got crowded right inside the door. Then Lilo thought it was appropriate to go under Boyo's belly, and it went perfectly.
It's like that here which makes me happy that I have a lot of pictures and videos from when he was smaller. You forget incredibly quickly just how small he was. I am completely amazed – so much so that I drop my chin, really.
I've been a bit bad at taking pictures now for a while. It has been so terribly hot, and has not felt at all attractive to beyond two dogs, also go and drag on a big one, wait for the camera. But now it's cooler, and I firmly believe it's time to take some pictures again so I can show how big he's gotten.
He is handsome, also. And I'm not saying that because I'm biased (although of course I'm biased), but there are actually others who think so too. It sometimes happens when we are out that people stop us in the street to say what nice dogs I have (Lilo included!). That is very nice to hear. ♥ Especially considering that Boyo's coat is as shiny and beautiful as Ella was throughout her life (and, except in connection with shedding and running, of course – then she looked miserable).
But then, shit, it will be so incredibly exciting to see just how big he will be in the end. I'm so curious I almost burst. 😀
