My vomiting dog

I have bought a food bar for my dog. A position so that food- and the water bowl comes up a bit. He is quite tall, Boyo, so I'd like it that way. So far I have fed him either in a Kong (the kind that wiggles and spills food/sweets) – or in a bowl that I hold at the right height.

But now I ordered and received a food bar. I was actually thinking of buying another one, but a friend bought it and her very first impression was so-so. Since it costs quite a lot of money, I decided to get this one, which is not as expensive – at least for the time being.

You have a boy ate in it for a couple of days and what appeared – and the only thing that has changed is how/where he eats, is that he throws up his breakfast within five minutes of eating. It's the second day in a row, and as said where – the only difference is that he eats his breakfast from the food bar instead of me holding his food bowl.

The only other thing reasons I can think of is that I think he eats faster this way than when I hold the bowl.

So – we'll see how this goes. I intend to continue using it, but maybe I'll try giving a little less food for breakfast to see if it works better. He does not vomit later in the day when he gets a smaller amount of food.

Another dog I knew well many years ago had… I don't remember what it's called, but she needed to eat with the bowl higher so that it wouldn't be crazy with the swallowing and possible regurgitation when she finished eating. I'm thinking Boyo might have the same problem.

Or so it is he just above at the phenomenon. He has been eating when I hold the bowl since he was quite small – the main reason for that is that there is chicken in his dry food, and Lilo is super allergic to chicken. If I hold the bowl, it is easier to control what might fall to the floor, so that she doesn't ingest it and gets sick to her stomach.

But just because At the moment I have a vomiting dog. Yay. And what he vomits up is really completely undigested food coated in transparent mucus. Very nasty. I don't like picking up wet and runny poo, but vomit be damned if it isn't worse and even more disgusting. HU!

…

Apart from this seems like he's ever so slowly starting to get out of this extremely fucking monkeyish teenage period he's been in for months. The walks are starting to be quite ok, and he's starting to pull himself together and has regained some measure of focus. It is even the case that Lilo's mother has reacted to that very thing.

I'm incredible Grateful for that, because it's so much easier to manage and get him to understand what I want when his brain is actually inside the frontal bone and not lying in a puddle of water in an unknown place.
