My dog, he can!

I wrote the other day about different ways I activate Boyo, and today it just happened that we happened to pass by one of the places I like the best here on the street where I live. The property managers usually dump various things there, and it is perfect for activating a dog.

Today my dog climbed up a metal ladder and stood on a grate ledge enjoying the view. He's done it once before, and now he wanted to show himself a little clever and a little fierce, so he himself took the initiative to climb up. But he's fucking ridiculous (it is called survival instinct, I have learned 😀 ), so it took me probably ten minutes to get him down from there. For one thing, he is easily distracted, partly a bit of a coward when it comes to getting down from higher heights. But down he came – eventually. 😀

He has too climbed around looking for candy on unstable ground. It is, in my eyes, an absolutely fantastic exercise. I imagine that physical balance is both fun and important for a dog, and should reasonably be quite good for various muscles in a dog's body. So it's something I usually come back to, that with unstable ground. Sometimes this way, sometimes in that big swing I wrote about earlier.

Just wanted today I mostly brag a little about how good he is, my muppet dog. I read such a good expression on Facebook i.. autumn, I think!? One person wrote about their dog that it does this and that “according to ability”. And that expression hit home – and is absolutely fantastic when it comes to Boyo. He who is so easily distracted and unfocused is far from the best in the world at anything more than just being him, but what we do is really to the best of our abilities, regardless of whether it is about “obedience training”, activation or just going for a leash walk.

And with starting point in that, I take the liberty of thinking that my dog was super talented today. ♥ Just that he climbed the ladder – AND down again! 😮 How cool isn't that, as well as!?

It will be more of this in the future for us. And just to have somewhere to store future videos, I grabbed one of my Youtube accounts and made a channel entirely for this. Or; in all honesty, an old channel that never came to fruition, but which I will use for this. Don't know if there will be much more than storing videos for the blog – it remains to be seen. 🙂
