I have a minor collaboration with Will Atherton who runs the Youtube channel Fenrir Canine Show, and also the company Fenrir Canine Leaders. Will is a person with extremely high ambitions, and has incredibly extensive and far-reaching goals that include, among other things, training of dog owners, and in the long run also to start up a number of rescue centers for dogs.

Fenrir Canine Show

I want to take opportunity and recommend a couple of digital courses that are available at Fenrir Canine Leaders. There are two courses produced by Will Atherton, where one is a puppy course that aims to create “the perfect canine companion“, and the other is one bootcamp for adult dogs, to remind them how things are supposed to work. I have only sniffed a little at the puppy course so far, but I can say that what I have seen so far is exactly what I myself think, and stands for.

That I really like with Will Atherton, his attitude is that training a dog is the smallest part of what you do together. He has that in common Larry Krohn. Exercise is the smallest part, and Atherton is very into this with leadership, just. Maybe even more than Krohn, but there I may be wrong, for Krohn does not talk about leadership per se, but rather about how to live with the dog. Two sides of a coin, but far from the same, I can personally think.

Even if I not gone through bootcamp-the course available at Fenrir Canine Leaders, I still intend to take the liberty of recommending both courses. They are not very expensive – about the same cost, if not even a little cheaper, even, as at any club. Converted into kronor, I think they land on around 7 – 800 tighten pieces. The setup is simple, clear and well-structured. The content, at least on the puppy course, is relevant and important – and it's about significantly more than just teaching your puppy, lie, beautiful paw and so on.

Otherwise can I say that FCL also sells some products. Among other things, they sell necklaces, couple, I know that sooner or later dog harnesses will come in (if you like them now), and it even sells dog food. Will is incredibly careful that it should be of the highest possible quality. I have not tested any of his products, because they are quite expensive (At least for me), but in the picture they look good. 🙂

I am not stupider than I understand that you who read here are in all probability NOT as nerdy as I am when it comes to dogs. But I still want to take the opportunity to suggest things I think make sense and are good, and that can make a big difference in the relationship with your dog.

Fenrir Canine Leaders is one such thing, and I really hope you at least check it out. In the end, it's something you and your dog can really benefit from, and even when I think the cost of these courses is relatively affordable, they are guaranteed to be affordable for you. 🙂

Because it is after all, like this – at least in my very own, highly personal opinion, that it is we as humans who are responsible for our relationship with the dog / dogs to work. They follow us without asking, so it is our damned duty to make sure we have a sensible approach to our dogs and that they have a safe and stable leader.

To look after that they have this is our task.
Not their.
