Now Lilo is not my dog, but she's here so much that it's worth bringing up what I feel like- and disadvantages of having two dogs at home, one of which is a puppy. Unlike Ella, who was just over a year old when I brought home another feed dog from the defense, Lilo is an adult and experienced dog. That's a big advantage, I can say. Lilo has also been a mother before, and is so incredibly talented in the role she automatically takes on against Boyo. She is extremely clear in her body- and energy language, which means that Boyo becomes good at interpreting her signals. I am extremely grateful for this.
Just as grateful me that they have such different ways of fooling around – Lilo is quite buff in her manner and likes to use her chest and body when she misbehaves, while Boyo is a typical German Shepherd who likes to stand on his hind legs and also uses his mouth a lot. Their differences in ways of playing and fooling around make Boyo learn that it's ok to play with dogs that don't play the same way as him. Variety pleases, or as they say now. 🙂
There are many things dogs can learn from each other, just by observing and participating in the same activities. Lilo learned that you sit inside the door and wait while I dress or undress before/after a walk, of… Mysa, I think it was. Det finns väldigt många fördelar med att ha två hundar hemma. Men det finns faktiskt också en och annan nackdel.
Till nackdelarna hör att när man sätter ihop två hundar har båda en tendens att ty sig till varandra, snarare än till den människa som befinner sig i närheten. This means that he learns a lot from her, but less of me.
When you have two dogs, it is also more difficult to focus on one and try to teach it different things, especially out for a walk, than it is when you have a dog to keep track of. It becomes particularly difficult when one dog is a puppy and is not supposed to go that fast. Then it is easy to let go of the leash and let it be a slow walk with a lot of freedom, rather than teaching the puppy – Boyo, the weight, the benefit and pleasure of walking neatly and neatly on a leash.

Otherwise can I gossip that Boyo was vaccinated yesterday, and that I partly bought home an expensive pig feed because of his crappy stomach (which works well on it), as well as collecting stool samples to send off and see if he has this giardia parasite or not.
