To begin with, I would have said I do not mind mixed breed dogs. All dogs are dogs, and because I happen to like dogs – well; it is almost impossible to dislike dogs just because it is a dog of a certain breed. Men; there are some things i'm thinking about, which concerns precisely mixed breed dogs – including the issue of economics.

I sit daily and walks through dogs for sale on Blocket, in principle the whole of Sweden. There are trends in what is popular there, I have noticed. Right now there are a lot of puppies, which just because of its size is completely uninteresting to me. A while ago, it was very common with mixtures of amstaff / pitbull / rottis and so on. It also seems to be very popular with American bull in different sizes.

That a purebred dog costing a certain amount of money is not so strange. A breeder of purebred dogs spends a lot of time, energy and probably money to breed within the breed chosen. I have zero idea of the costs behind a litter of puppies, but can imagine that it is a lot. I really do not want to say that everyone who breeds purebred dogs does it in a nice way, but there is at least a thought with breeding.

When you start mix dog breeds, However, it seems to be the world's fucking mess in thought activity. One of the things I think bothers me the most, is how to price your mixed breed puppies. In the past, a mixed breed dog has been significantly cheaper to get, than a purebred dog. Now it seems with some mixed breeds to be just the opposite.

Do you know, that for some weeks ago I saw a mix between.. I do not remember exactly, but I think it was the Australian shepherd, and poodle. Aussiepoo eller Aussiedoodle, or similar, it was called in the ad headline (amendment; Goldendoodle). Do you know what the person behind the litter wanted for their puppies? The whole brave twenty-two thousand span – per valp.

TWENTY TWO FUCKING FUCKING THOUSAND SPANTS PER PUPPY!!!

Twenty-two thousand spans for a mixed breed puppy. Not long after this I saw another mixture of poodle (I think) where the price per puppy was eighteen thousand. Just recently I saw a mix between bichon frize and poodle, even that for eighteen thousand.

Is it just me, or mixed breed breeders are starting to take on breast tones in some way, or? While on the one hand I do not think that you can measure life in money, this will be the approach of those who take litters on their bitches no matter what is mixed, in my opinion just ridiculous. The only purebred dogs I've seen in these price ranges are either American Bull (from eighteen to thirty thousand per puppy) or dogs that have been exhibited and where things have gone extremely well in the show ring or in other competitions.

Those who take like this shameless prices for their puppies also seem extremely proud of their mixes and I have seen someone claim that it is the first litter of this particular mix in Sweden – probably that is why they charge such deplorable prices for the puppies. Personally, I think that if one intends to “create a new breed”, so you need to know what to do and why, and what one expects to be able to achieve through one's breeding. I have read about a breeder in the USA who created a new breed by name Bluebay shepherd, and she has worked for twenty years (if I remember correctly) to get the kind of dog she wants. And then there are still big variations in her litters.

Something else I disturb me on is when you mix very many breeds in one and the same dog, or when mixing breeds that do not necessarily go well together. For example, I think it is extremely unnecessary to mix an Amstaff with a Rottweiler, shepherd, Cane Corso, Dogo canario and other similar breeds. But I also think it is unnecessary to mix Border Collie with German Shepherd, Setter (whichever) or any other dog that is nervous, high energy and so on. It kind of just makes for trouble – especially since you do not automatically know that the person who buys such a puppy knows what he is doing, so that it will be good.

As I said, I have where nothing against mixed races, but I do not think it is necessary to take puppies after all bitches. Men maybe that’s just me.
