I worked as a portrait- and wedding photographer before I got sick pensioner. Oh my God, unsexy as that sounds that were on disability. Regardless; My stress level has dropped so much that I would not be able to work as a photographer again. Sad, men sant.
Combined with that the fact that I'm not particularly amused by going home during the day and having nothing meaningful to do, I have thought about alternatives. What is closest to my heart is of course; dogs. What else, as well as.
There are a few different ones ways I can imagine working with dogs. I can imagine helping people who, for various reasons, do not manage to get their dog in order with the help of traditional dog courses – that is; can't get the relationship in order, and therefore also does not make the dog listen and do as they say.
I could too imagine running a dog daycare – on one, according to my knowledge, somewhat unconventional way. I want the dog daycare directly adjacent to where I live, which assumes that I live in a way where I can run such a business. Namely; in a house with an attached winter sheltered outbuilding and a large rest yard.
Another option is to somehow work in correctional services with a dog. What I have in mind is to visit inmates and have some kind of training in how to handle dogs. Handling a dog is a fantastic way to learn things about yourself and develop as a person. My belief is that people sitting inside can benefit from it. Not to mention that it's nice for everyone to spend time with dogs (if you are not afraid of dogs or super allergic, Want to say).
No matter which or which of these things I choose to do – if I choose to do something, requires me to educate myself. What I am personally looking for in terms of education is purely practical knowledge. When it comes to dog daycare, you need to have some theoretical knowledge of laws, etc, which is perfectly fine. But what I myself experience are my shortcomings in purely practical knowledge is herd mentality and reading dogs in groups, and more about exactly when it's time to step in and break up a showdown between dogs, regardless of how many there are or how serious the settlement.
How I should carry myself spent on educating myself in this, I haven't really calculated yet. There are a few different ways to get there, but they all cost a lot of money. Money I don't have, and also don't really know how I'm going to get together in a reasonable future.
It can happen that I can settle for having one or a couple of my own dogs and possibly a day dog.
But that would be fantastic fun to somehow be able to work with dogs on my own.
……
Besides, I can say I'm having a period when I'm very sad right now. Little thought about Ella, and I completely break down.
It is not a bit of fun.
