I contacted the breeder of the Estrela today to find out a little more closely what time it is at any litter. A quick reply later I found out that the female they are intending to mate is expected to be in heat sometime in October/November. It means – hopefully puppies, pretty soon! WHEEEEEEE!!!
Oh my God, it will be superpirrigt – throughout the stomach! It's like planning to get a puppy of a particular breed, and quite another when it suddenly exists within the framework of what is reality. Much like that Ella, against my will, ending up further and further from my reality.
But can you understand. Oh my God, seam I have been waiting and longing. After all, I've wanted an Estrela for longer than the time since Ella left me (I still can't think or say it right). And now my new dog will soon be made.
Shit, now must I start planning. Not just in the tank, but like that for real, plan. For example, I have put away all of Ella's old things (food bowls, Toys, mattunna, leash and necklace, with more). Time to bring out, go through and review what may need to be purchased.
And that with NAME! Just because it can be fun to see what the dog looks like before deciding on a name, but I have so many options for names. Incidentally, I have put myself on the list for a male, in case you are wondering.
