There will be many posts today, I notice – that's how it goes when you have a lot to think about. Considering Ella's friend who fell asleep yesterday, Of course, I think a lot about the dog and her family, but also on how and when it is time for Ella to leave me forever.
Most of the time I push it away, I almost breaks down just thinking about it. But the thoughts are there, and I might as well think them when they are still in place.
Ella gave me the first warning at the end of January. Then the time was about six months. A few weeks ago I received another warning, and then the deadline was about two months.
I don't know if any of this is true. Ella is my first dog. But the feeling I got on both occasions has been so strong, plain and clear that I don't feel there is any room for doubt. Of course I still wonder, and you can't be completely sure until you're there.
But the fact is that I don't think it's very long left. Not because she is in any way worse than yesterday or the day before. I don't think it will necessarily be either her joints/aches, or the mammary tumors that make it time. Depending a little on how the summer will be, maybe it's the heat that makes it time.
Regardless; I spoke with a family member who lost their dog yesterday, today, and said I think Ella is leaving me after her next run which I suspect will be somewhere in early/mid July. I don't know why, but it feels like it will.
I have too thought a lot about how the hell you make the decision. Hur tusan tar man beslutet? Hur länge väntar man?
I I do not understand how I will ever be able to do that fan inte, och jag gör mig själv gråhårig på att grubbla över det.
